In an unknown future, a battle rages for survival on the planet Iuri. Having built a new society on a terraformed world, after being expelled and marooned by their respective homeworlds, two species--Animalians (the collective descendants of the byproducts of early 21st century genetics experiments on Earth--sent to Iuri after a long, brutal battle for autonomy) and Thellians (ancient, spiritual primates, raised in a strict caste society, ruled by politics...including societal expulsion)--face a new threat: an overpowering, mercenary corporation bent on using Iuri's secluded location as a means for resolving a botched colonial relocation.

With outdated hardware, an unprepared population, and countless shadow agendas playing themselves out both in society and within the military itself, the Admirals of the Iurian Defense Corps assemble the Front Line Stellar Defense wing--strategically-stationed teams of pilots, prepared to deploy to the site of confrontation on a moment's notice. At Balooza City, the IDC's military headquarters, the men, women and Thellians of the seventeenth FLSD have transformed themselves into the most prestigious of the assembled FLSD wings. Spiritual descendants of the original Animalian freedom fighters on Earth, these pilots have embraced the name of their predecessors: Milikardo Knights. Their mission: independence and freedom for all Iurians, at all costs.

Praise and Accolades for Milikardo Knights:

Diamond Previews "Selection of the Month," June, 1997

Cairyn's Comics Corner (November, 1997): "Actually, I am quite pleased with the artwork here, and there's really not much to complain about. Hmm, I'd even say this is one of the top five furry titles this year, although I'd like to see more of the storyline for a valid evaluation."

Captain Packrat's Comics Review (March, 1997): "This is one of the best comic book stories I've read in a long time. It's not too often that I find a story that I can really get into. Overall: 8, A very good comic book that I highly recommend."
